This pair is one of my favorites in the D.N. Angel series. On his 14th birthday, Niwa Daisuke wrote a loveletter to Harada Risa, his classmate whom he had a crush on. She turned him down (ouch!) and he went into a state of depression. In Daisuke's bedroom he had painted a picture of Risa and when he arrived home later that day, at the sight of the picture, his DNA reacted to his feelings and he turned into Dark Mousey, a phantom theif. The only way to stop this transformation, is to have Risa love Daisuke and Dark.As the story progresses, Daisuke realises that the one he loves is not Risa, but Riku, Risa's twin sister. Although Risa and Daisuke aren't really a couple, I still like their friendship and the fact that Riku and Dark interfered with them in the beginning.
